Planetarium Renovation Begins

The renovation of the OSU Planetarium officially begins on June 4, when specialists from Ash Enterprises arrives to carefully dismantle and pack our beloved old Spitz A3P projector.  We are donating our A3P to the Perkins Observatory in Delaware Ohio.  The planetarium projector, control console, and sound console will be disassembled, packed, and trucked out to Perkins.  

This marks the first stage of our renovation.  The following stage will be fix the roof over the planetarium starting in mid June, then a demolition crew will come in to remove the old chairs, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, fixtures, and the projection dome, preparing for new construction.
