COSI's Science Festival - Star Party

We will be hosting one of the many sites for the City-wide Star Party as part of COSI's Science Festival. Anyone can come and no reservations are necessary. Walk on in and enjoy the SCIENCE.

Weather

We are an any-weather site so we will be having activities even if it's hailing outside.

Activities

If it happens to clear, which is unlikely, we will have mostly telescopes out rather than our demos but in the event of #ohioweather we will have some of the following activities:

  • Make a real comet
  • Cratering
  • Solar System Scales
  • Meteorites
  • Short planetarium shows

Location

All events will be happening in Smith Lab on the main campus of OSU. We will be split between the ground floor and the planetarium facilities. Volunteers will be around to help you find your way. The NE doors of Smith Lab will be open.
