Comet Watch Party

In lieu of a star party this week, we will be hosting a comet-watching party on the roof of Smith Lab. We will post more information on this page but the later days this week look promising.

Time:

Sunset until comet set (about 30-45 minutes later)

Location:

Smith Lab Roof. Come to the Arne Slettebak Planetarium in Smith Lab 5033 and take the stairs up two flights to the roof. If you are unable to climb stairs and need any accommodations please email us at planetatrium@osu.edu and we will set up a telescope out on the plaza for you. This is not any extra work for us so please ask. The main elevator IS WORKING! It looks different and provides a smooth ride, which is something anyone who has visited in the past is a welcome change!!!!

Dates:

TBA - Bring your friends and family. We will be looking for the comet!

Weather Update - Day 2 is a go!

Wednesday is a go. See you at sunset on the roof!

Thursday is a go! We will meet at 7pm since we learned from last night being there AT sunset was a tad early.
