Ohio State Astronomy and the Arne Slettebak Planetarium will host our first Roof Night of the year with our September Star Party. We will have binoculars, telescopes, and experts to help show you the sky and constellations. If the weather doesn't cooperate we will try for Friday Sept 15 and deal with the light pollution from The Shoe before the game. On Thursday, we will go until about 10 pm.
For students on campus, we will try to open before Sunest at 7:30 pm so you are welcome to make an observation for Astronomy 1101 if you wish.
Weather Update (4:30pm 9/14)
The weather is iffy, We will try to look at Jupiter and Saturn as they are up and some bight stars and hope for the best tonight. We are go but it may just be hanging out on the roof and enjoying an amazing evening.
