Seat reservations will open on the Eventbrite website exactly one week before each show. The dates and times for which seats will be opened for reservations are listed next to each show below, so please come back to Eventbrite on those dates/times to reserve seats. All times are given in local Eastern Time. If you are a member of the Planetarium Founders Society or Friends of the Planetarium Fund, you are eligible for early access to tickets. Please email us for your early ticketing.
We continually experience extremely high demand for these public shows. If you arrive at the site and there is no option to reserve them, that is becase they are sold out.
If you decide to take a chance and come to one of our public shows without reservations please know we seat all Reserved Seats first and then allow walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. We have a maximum capacity of 63 people and cannot allow anyone to stand or sit on the floor. If you experience any issues please email the planetarium director with your comments.
Wait-list Requests on Eventbrite
If you are signing up for a wait list and need more than one seat, please put in multiple wait list requests separately under the same name/email so that we know how many we need when we release seats to you. Unfortunately, Eventbrite will not take multiple-seat wait list requests, so you must do individual requests for each seat you need. The waitlists themselves are only 20 people long and once they are full you will no longer see the waitlist button.
If you get in off the wait list, you will receive an email with instructions on how to claim your seat. If you do not reserve your seat within 1 day of receiving the email, the seats will be offered to the next person on the wait list.
