Scheduling a Planetarium Show for your Group | Arne Slettebak Planetarium at Ohio State

If you would like to schedule a planetarium show for your group outside of the regular public shows, we are happy to work with you. We charge a nominal fee for a group presentation. This group reservation option reserves the entire planetarium for the group, provides staffing for the event, and allows your group flexibility in the both the timing and content of shows presented. For information on fees please refer to the private groups page, however if you have any questions please email the planetarium director.

All groups requesting shows, except for those funded/supported directly by the OSU College of The Arts & Sciences, are subject to these admission fees. Financial aid is available to education-based groups such as schools who are unable to pay the fee. If you require funding to make a field trip to the planetarium, please email the planetarium director directly to apply for financial aid for your group. Our goal is to support all school groups who would like to visit the planetarium.

Bus Parking

OSU's CampusParc allows school buses to park in any unrestricted space (which excludes disability, reserved, or hourly spaces) at no charge if they have city, county, state, or any other government license plate. CampusParc would prefer buses park / stage in the Scarlet and Gray Lots near the Schottenstein Center (assuming there are no events taking place at the Schott) between dropping off and picking up. If you require bus parking accommodations for your group, please contact CampusParc directly at (614) 688-0000.
